It is partly our mission to share the experiences we are fortunate enough to have. For this reason, our Instagram account @livesoutsidtd0tcom is one of the most active parts of our organization. We want others to see what anyone can do if they wish to and the benefits/drawbacks that are included. Feedback that is constructive which leads to productivity is always appreciated, especially from those in the outdoors industry we respect. When Snow Peak USA @snowpeakusa requested to use one of our photos on their page, we could not have been more thrilled.
What We Love About Snow Peak
Having relied on Snow Peak products for years, we have been advocates for their durable, ultralight and quality pieces. Never have we felt the need to replace anything from Snow Peak, thus far. In our experience, very few companies strive to achieve Snow Peak’s level of elegant design combined with raw functionality. Many people appreciate a product which is attractive, everyone can love a product which is beautiful and utilitarian. Be forewarned that the price of admission can be steep. In Snow Peak’s case the cliche rings true, “buy once, cry once.”

Timeless Beauty & Elegance
Difference tends to attract attention in nature. Snow Peak has a very different design compared to many current outdoor gear producers. In a desert of unoriginality where the go-to option for many marketing teams seems to be- the brighter the better, Snow Peak is an oasis of consistency. We love to compare new cooking gear of the day with Snow Peak and see how a year later how much the current offerings have changed. One cup we have had for years shows unique colors due to high temperature exposure, typical for titanium. Character such as this it difficult to replicate and tells part of a larger story.

Gratitude & Appreciation To Our Elders
In a way, we see Snow Peak as one of our “elders” in the industry. They have been around much longer and have had great success which has carried them up to their current level. This is something we can deeply respect, as their general design has been very much the same with only slight variations over time. In addition to merely respecting their experience, we attempt to learn from it after becoming aware of it.
We are very thankful that one of our industry “elders” decided to reach out because of content we published with a request to use it. A small thing sure, but a huge sign we are doing something correct (or hopefully not wrong) and for that were are thankful.
